Today's Piano Puzzler
This week's contestant is Cynthia Sibitzky from Haslett, Texas. I don't get the sense that the hidden song is really all that hidden, and you get it in about three seconds -- and only that long because there's a bit of an introduction into the piece. Though it's very lovely. As for the composer style, I had a choice between three people who are somewhat similar. The contestant's first guess was mine, as well, but...we were wrong.

Wow! It's a real talent! I think it's really hard to guess the song in three seconds. I'm not sure if I could guess even my favorite tracks) But maybe for a professional musician it's easier. Is it so? I've never been studying music, so I don't really know if the musical education helps in such cases.

Thanks much, though it's not so much a talent as being an idiot savant. I don't get most of them this quickly, but sometimes your ear just hones in.
