Elisberg Industries was founded in 1847 in Glencoe, Scotland, by two former employees of the Olde Edinburgh Metalworks, who had been fired for reasons that have been oddly lost to history.
Those owners, brothers Graham and Hyman Elisberg, believed in the simple precept that life is better with technology, when it works. Their first product, a unique toaster-on-wheels, had only modest sales, but it spurred the brothers on with the heady taste of enterprise.
Since that day, Elisberg Industries has developed into a worldwide conglomerate with diverse interests in completely unrelated fields.
Among its many products today in aerospace and manufacturing are:
First combination digital transport guidance system/toaster oven
Non-stick Velcro. (Pat. pend.)
Dehydrated cheese
