As I've noted in the past, I seem to be on the receiving end far more than is preferable of hiccups that doesn't seem to affect others. I refer to them as the WML Syndrome -- for "Why Me, Lord?" Most are tech related, though not all, but as a result of that, my tech mega-guru Ed Bott suggested they belong in a running WML Diary, which I've posted here on occasion.
(Ed also suggested that my "handle" nickname when submitting tech support requests be "Edge Case." This is basically a tech term that refers to a problem that only happens at extreme operating levels.) Here's the latest. I use a platform for this website site called Weebly. It’s very easy to use, but annoyingly glitchy. (At some point I might try to switch over to another platform, but that's not only convoluted, but also Weebly doesn't transfer easily. Yes, I've looked. But I digress...) Anyway, during the past month, I’ve had a couple of bizarre, very random hiccups that aren’t a “problem” per se since they’re so rare and easy to work around. It relates to auto-generated emails I get sent when someone leaves a User Comment. There's a bad link in these emails -- on occasion -- but I can always just go to the comment directly on the site. So, while annoying, it's not a huge issue. But, yes, it's annoying. I’ve been writing the tech support and got a reply today that I could only laugh at -- “Thank you for sharing that screenshot with me. This is the first time I have heard of this happening, and you're right, it's proving hard to replicate.” WML
