Okay, if the heavens have their way, I think that this should be the last update unless something miraculous changes later today, like I make Oprah's Book Club, or the Pulitzer committee knocks on the door. But I think you're pretty safe to go out to dinner, rather than wait for an alert.
For those keeping a scorecard, The Wild Roses peaked at #57 on Amazon's bestseller list for women's fiction, in ebooks. This is the last day of the $0.99 sale, so after that you're on your own. To be clear, the book isn't "for" women. It's a comic swashbuckler. ("Hot chicks with swords," as my pal Bart Baker calls it.) But women have apparently glommed onto the thing, so who am I to say nay? Last thing. It's the top-featured book today on the Kindle Books & Tips website. Mind you that requires a big caveat, since I'm not sure if being the "top" means more than the others -- but I like to think so... So, we'll leave it at that.
