The management of Elisberg Industries is pleased to announce that for the first time since this website began earlier this year, we have passed 1,000 "unique visitors" for a single day! The official expression is, "Woo-hoo!" And it's only 5:30 PM in Los Angeles, so there's still 6-1/2 hours to go.
No fool I, I'm 1,000% certain that the bulk of this is due to the fine Mark Evanier sending folks this way over the article about the Utra-D technology for 3-D TV. So, thanks to the good fellow -- and to the good folks who took his advice and wandered over to these parts. I hope you'll stick around for the festivities, but regardless, thanks for coming back. To be fair to the fine ladies and gents who've put up with this folderol for a long while, Mark has recommended things here in the past, and the attendance never leaped like this. Indeed, we'd been reaching into the 700 and 800s on occasion these days, so I know that a lot of the thanks go to the long-sufferers, as well. Or maybe it was hiring Rabbi Jack Moline as our Senior VP of Telecommunications that did the trick. There's chips and cheese dip in the refrigerator for everyone. Make yourself at home. Who knows? Maybe one day this will be in 3D...
