A while back, I posted a video and wrote about how the Love Actually cast was reuniting for a sequel-of-sorts to make a short film for Red Nose Day, updating most of the main characters. (The only person I believe left out was Emma Thompson because writer-director Richard Curtis thought it was too sad to deal with her character without the late Alan Rickman who had played her philandering husband.) The video was shown on Red Nose Day in England a month ago, and then finally aired on Red Nose Day in the U.S. on Friday. But even if you saw it...you didn't see it. It ran about eight minutes (cut up between several segments throughout the broadcast, to stretch it out) -- but the real film is over 14 minutes long! Not only were scenes trimmed for the U.S. version, but one character was cut out completely. (Without completely giving away who, I'll just say the scene takes place during a radio interview.) So, here it is -- the full thing. Red Nose Day Actually.

This short film is wonderful. Olivia Olson was a sweet addition too.

It's a shame that the entire film didn't get shown on the broadcast, but if there was a matter of time, I understand it. What I don't understand is why they wouldn't announce, "To see the full film, go online and..." or something along those lines.
