"That's one of the times I'm f--king embarrassed to be a Republican."
-- Kid Rock So, I read this headline, and thought, "Gee, it took you this long to get 'f-king embarrassed??" I figured that Kid Rock must have a really high threshold of tolerance. But...well, better late than never. Welcome to the club. But then, I read the full quote and saw what it was that had finally made him f-king embarrassed about being Republican. Was it trans-vaginal probes of women? Was it blocking gun control? Was it trying to close Planned Parenthood health clinics? Was it trying to stop women from getting legal abortions? Was it trying to make it difficult for minorities to vote? Was it trying to block the Dream Act to make illegal aliens citizens? Was it voting against gay marriage? Was it racist attacks on the President of the United States? Nope. It was someone deeper, richer, more important. Ticket prices. You see, Kid Rock is admirably trying to keep ticket prices at a low $20 for his tour, but is running into problems with ticket fees and states that have made paperless ticketing illegal. "It's f--king Republican lawmakers passing those laws, you dumbasses," Kid Rock vented. "They already did it in New York and they're trying to do it in Michigan. I've even called some of those guys to try and stop it." Hey, Mr. Kid Rock, while you've got some of those f-king guys on the phone, ask them about f-king universal background checks.
