We have another spoof ad from the Orange Film Board, a fictitious division of the real British mobile company. But wait, there's actually a point behind this one! Go figure. And as for this one, Carrie Fisher pitches her idea for a romantic Victorian love story to Mr. Dresden and his fellow clueless and insensitive suck-up board members. Not surprisingly, it doesn't go well. Sometimes, even Princess Leia can't overcome idiocy. But something popped up as I was watching the first part of the 2-part season finale of The Blacklist. Or as I should probably call it, The Orangelist. In the episode, which is bringing a great deal of the season-long mystery into some sort of revolution, we see a particularly evil scientist -- who if you look it up on iMDB, is named 'Dr. Nikolaus Vogel' -- at the heart of a conspiracy with a very, very, really deadly virus. And I looked closely, and then closer...and then I sat up. It's Mr. Dresden!! The actor's name is Brennan Brown. And if you happen to watch the series (which concludes the season on Monday), you now have the connection in the palm of your hand.
