Okay, so, yeah, I'm a little late posting this evening, but then I've been busy celebrating and listening to the post-game coverage.
Two down, two to go.
It’s so bizarre. Cubs fans (understandably) are going crazy bananas…and it’s just a case of winning the National League Division Series. The still have to win two more series. But still, when you haven't won a World Series in 106 years, you celebrate any post-season victory.
Here's the final out and celebration. The wonderful Pat Hughes with the call.
(Note: the oft-mentioned and disappointed Chris Dunn does not have to watch. He can stop here and move on to the next message. He may be a Cardinals fan, but hath not a Cardinal fan eyes? Hath not a Cardinal fan hands? If you prick them, do they not bleed? If you tickle them, do they not laugh?)
Robert J. Elisberg is a political commentator, screenwriter, novelist, tech writer and also some other things that I just tend to keep forgetting.
