Wow, two Media Alerts in one day -- and in a row, no less.
As I've mentioned and you may know, Garrison Keillor is retiring from A Prairie Home Companion in about a month (though the show will go on, with new host Chris Thile). And as readers of these pages know, I love the Ravinia Music Festival, the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, just not of Chicago in Highland Park, where I worked for a couple of summers.
Well, the two come together today -- Garrison Keillor is doing a live broadcast from Ravinia today, Saturday. It starts at 5 PM Central time. (That's 6 PM in the East and 3 PM on the West Coast) The show runs for two hours.
You can stream it live here on the Prairie Home Companion. Or you can always listen on your local radio stadium's broadcast -- some of which air it live, others on tape delay. In either event, you can find local stations and time by clicking here.
