The scheduled guest tonight on Stephen Colbert's show is Anthony Scaramucci. That's CBS at 11:35 PM West Coast time (and East, as well).
Honestly, I only plan to record it and then read about how it goes. I have no interest in watching a genial interview with a lot of joshing as Scaramucci is handled with kid gloves and normalized to show "he's just a good guy." He's a egomaniacal jerk. That said, I have no great interest in watching either if he's ridiculed so much that it's uncomfortable as he's made to look a fool. What I'd like is a solid, tough (albeit funny) interview where he shows himself to be a jerk and hangs himself. I'll read the articles tomorrow, and if that's what happens, I'll likely then go back to the recording and watch. Though if I had to guess it'll be the former.
The only reason I don't care all that much about what happens is that at this point, he's no longer in the government and with no authority or power. He's just an egomaniacal jerk.
Robert J. Elisberg is a political commentator, screenwriter, novelist, tech writer and also some other things that I just tend to keep forgetting.
