Okay, let's make it a three-peat.
If that video yesterday of Karen Ziemba didn't quite make you a fan and you need just a little push, here's another. It's from that same PBS special, My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies. This time, though, she's with her co-star from the revival of Chicago, Bebe Neuwirth. (Neuwirth was the original star of the revival, though Ziemba was a replacement.)
The description says it's the song "Nowadays" from Chicago, but they actually segue into a second piece, the joyous and raucous "Hot Honey Rag." There's a nice bit of showmanship in the number. If you only know Bebe Neuwirth from Cheers as Lilith, you'll be knocked over by how terrific she is. As for the lesser-known Karen Ziemba, it's just more of the same wonderfulness, from the grand down to the most minor gesture...
