Hey, if Time-Warner and CBS can interrupt your service, I figure it's far less a big deal if I do, as well.  However, I do want to let you know beforehand that there's going to be a bit of a slight hiccup for the next several days, though mainly today and on the return.  The return from what?  I'm off again to cover the IFA Berlin technology trade show this afternoon.

IFA is sort of the European equivalent to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.  I went last year, and it's quite interesting -- though perhaps even more of a convoluted circus than CES.  I'll be posting here from the show and Berlin during the week, though not as much as usual, and probably more about what's going on there, but who knows?  I've got a few different things in mind that will hopefully be fun and in the spirit, assuming I can get to them.  The additional issue is that it's a 9-hour difference from Los Angeles, so the posting schedule will be totally screwed up.  But just know that I will try to post at least something every day.  If I can do more, so be it.

The only periods that will be tough are the travel days, because it's a very long flight (16 hours with one stop) and then Customs and travel after that.  And then there's the whole "jet lag" thingee.

However, to fill in at least some of those hours for you fine readers, I prepared a few things in advance, and I'll post them all now.  (Depending on how you read this website, you might have come to them already before getting to this.  In which case, consider this a belated, after-the-fact explanation.  Even though it really came first...)  You can read them all at once, or pretend that I'm not really gone at all and go through them one at a time, checking back later for the others!

When you're done, check on back.  There'll be something starting up soon enough, tomorrow.  Just when that will be "tomorrow," I don't have a clue...
