Christmas Comes Early
I was just doing my monthly check of the royalty report for my novel, A Christmas Carol 2: The Return of Scrooge, not expecting anything since, well...it was April. And to my shock, it sold three paperback copies. Not even the much-less eBook edition. Mind you, I prefer the paperback version since it's far-easier to read the footnotes, but still... April???
Who is buying A Christmas Carol 2 in April?! Unless, what with being three copies, it's people getting in their holiday shopping really early for this year. Or very late. Or perhaps an April Fools Day joke. Even more bizarre is that it's clearly more than one person since there are dollar sales (meaning in the U.S.) and sales in pounds (meaning the U.K.)
I'm not remotely complaining, mind you. Making an unexpected $2.35 last month is a fine gift, indeed. Just utterly boggled. Fa la la...
