You may recall that a couple weeks ago, I wrote here about how Quentin Tarantino had a hissy-fit because his new screenplay, The Hateful Eight, got released online and so he was pulling the movie from development. I suggested that this struck me as a ridiculous thing to do, and thought that it might have been a publicity stunt, though an odd one, and that we might actually see the movie after all.
I don't necessarily think it was a publicity stunt, mind you, but it does now appear that we might, indeed, actually see the movie after all. Shocked, we are. Shocked! Check out this article here about a series of Tweets from Jeff Sneider of TheWrap. He seems to have some inside information that's off-the-record, so he can't officially confirm the news, but suggests that the movie will movie forward, and all it took is Tarantino calming down...and realizing he should, well, just rewrite the script.
