As you've no doubt noticed, I've written a few times about the Kickstarter project my friend Greg Van Buskirk is part of. But as I've said, I do this not just because of friendship (I have lots of friends with really bad ideas...), but because this is a pretty remarkable product. And they've finally posted a wonderful video that makes clear how special it is. Sofft is a fabric softener and stain repellent. And in most worlds, hearing that would be a big yawn. But this is one of those things that's so fun you'd swear it was a special effect. So, even if you have zero interest in making a Kickstarter donation, it's till a terrific video to watch. By the way, there's something else I like about this video. They actually show that there simply are some stains in the world that by virtue of their chemical composition just won't interact with Sofft and happily roll off, no matter how much you wish it. But what the video shows is that if your clothes have been treated with Sofft, these few, rare lingering stains still can then just be washed away, something (you'll see) than won't happen with a standard commercial stain remover.
For people who are interested in the Kickstarter project, they'r over 75% to their goal with 25 days yet to go. You can see more about it here.
