Continuing with our videos from this past week's terrific Saturday Night Live, he is a really odd, but wonderful sketch with guest host John Mulaney and Ego Nwodim in the lead that has you scratching your head as you watch, and (at least to me.and one friend I spoke with about it) just keep growing better and better, while staying just as odd.
This is also one of those kinds of sketches that looks deceptively simple. But the coordination and timing to pull it off -- most especially so effortlessly -- is really difficult. And while it's just as difficult for both performers, I give a few bonus points to Mulanely because he's not only not a sketch performer, but rather a writer and standup comic, but this also isn't something he does every week as part of the cast, but was just thrown out there and told, "Okay, now go ahead.) But -- it's difficult for them both, no matter how easy they make it seem.
And it's odd. But totally charming.
