Once again, we get into our Wayback Machine, and check out another Mystery Guest from What's My Line? Actually, that's not quite correct. Make that, "Guests." Because here we have Henry Fonda and his son, Peter. Just the sort of typical guests you have an a game show... This took place in early1966, so it's three years before Easy Rider, when Peter Fonda's career took off. Though his career has likely seemed pretty low-key, especially since that high point, it's impresses to know that he's been acting for over half a century! In fact, not only is he still acting, but he has two movies being released this year, The Harvest and The Ultimate Life. The latter has an interesting side-note to it, since it's directed by another son of a famous father, Michael Landon, Jr. A few additional fun things in the clip. One of the panelist on this is Carol Channing, who probably was appearing on Broadway at the time, in Hello, Dolly!, which opened in 1965. And the panelist next to her is Mark Goodson -- partner in the Goodson-Todman team who, among many, many game shows, created and produced What's My Line? But most fun might be simply watching Henry Fonda do a fake voice.
