I haven't been a regular watching of Breaking Bad. I saw the first couple episodes, and thought they were wonderfully done, but it's just not the kind of show I like. I personally can't get into inviting into my home a guy who's becoming a meth kingpin, ruining people's lives, brutally killing people to provide for his family after he dies -- week after week for year after year after year. I get how good it is, it's just not for me. That said, I have been watching the last eight episodes to see how it concludes, and I've enjoyed it.
Even having watched so little, I was still able to be bowled over by this remarkable 13-minute parody, Joking Bad, on Jimmy Fallon's show this week. I didn't get a few of the jokes, but got plenty enough. And even beyond that, I was just seriously impressed with the effort and craft that went into this. Besides, the few cameos were a hoot.
