For the past year or so, I've been leaving a lot of postings on social media that say, "Unlike Trump's false claims against Hillary Clinton, he actually puts us all literally at risk." And now comes the story that because the intelligence service couldn't trust Trump leaking highly classified information -- as he's done before, most notably in the Oval Office when talking in person directly to the Russian Foreign Secretary and ambassador -- the CIA has had to extract an critically valuable asset with connections to Vladimir Putin, leaving the U.S. without eyes that close to Russian leadership. Worse, while we have lost someone that close to the top of the Russian government, they still have their asset sitting in the Oval Office. Trump actually puts us all literally at risk. And as always, this isn't about Trump. We know who he is. This is about the elected members of the Republican Party who enable him, are silent about it all, and are complicit. I hadn't intended to write the above for today. Instead I had prepared what is below, and that was going to be it. But not only did the news about the CIA spy crop up at the last minute last night, but as life would have it, the story fit perfectly with what I already had ready to go. Which was --. This is a really good ad for a candidate who has announced her run for Congress. I just wish it included the district she's running in. That seems to be unfortunately common, I've found. However, it's even buried on her website -- but for the record, it's the New Mexico 3rd. I further checked. It turns out that the district is strongly Democratic, however the sitting congressman is running for the Senate, leaving the seat open. So, whoever wins the primary (and at the moment 10 people have announced their candidacy.) This is the ad for Valerie Plame.
