Yesterday, in writing about Edgar Bergen's final appearance in The Muppet Movie, I mentioned that he had no dialogue, but that there was just a noteworthy closeup of him and Charlie McCarthy. However, reader Douglass Abramson corrected me that indeed they did have a bit of dialogue. The close-up that Jim Henson wanted to give them was so pronounced that that was what stood out in my mind. And thoughtfully, he sent along a link to the video. So, it's only right and proper that I correct things here --

Thanks for the share of that lovely moment. Charlie and Bergen's warm final chuckle actually caused me to choke up a bit. Funny how quickly an unexpected wave of nostalgia can wash over you.
