The Lenovo company was at the Showstoppers event last night, and I double-checked with them about some pricing and tech configuration information. I got different (and better) info about the new 10" Miix 2 Windows tablet. The guy last night said that the price will be just $449 -- for both the tablet and the keyboard. That's less than the $499 I'd been told. And (importantly) that's for a 64 GB model, not 32 GB. This latter is particularly good news, since 32 GB is really too small for a Windows device (or any device, really). That's because a lot of the 32 GB would be used up by the operating system.
Since I've liked the Lenovo products I've tested (and I'm in the midst of testing their 8" model of the same Windows tablet product line), this was good news to hear. Mind you, for all I know, this information is wrong. Though he seemed more certain than the fellow the night before.
