A few years ago, I got a CD compilation of Peter, Paul & Mary's big hits. It included a song I'd never heard before, but really liked. What was noticeable was not just what a good song it was, nor that it didn't sound much like a Peter, Paul & Mary song, but rather something by Jimmy Buffet. I'll bet with just a slightly different arrangement, he'd have done a great job with it, as well. The song is "I'd Rather Be in Love." It's not written by anyone in the group, but by Patrick Alger and Walter C. Carter.
