I got a lot of very positive reaction about that opening number on the Tony Awards Sunday. Though most of the praise has (deservedly) gone to Neil Patrick Harris for a pretty remarkable, live performance, it's worth noting that the impressive number was co-written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. He's the extremely-talented guy in his own right who wrote and starred in the Tony-winning Best Musical, In the Heights, and co-wrote this year's Tony-nominated Best Musical, Bring It On: the Musical. I mention all this because he's the guy who a couple years ago posted a video for his wedding, which (for my taste) is the best wedding video I've seen on the Internet. And it will be hard to top. I've watched it probably at least two dozen times, on my own and showing it to others, and it remains joyous each time. I don't want to say anything more except, just keep in mind that he's the same fellow who co-created that Tony-extravaganza number. The video may begin after a brief commercial, but if so, you can click off after a few seconds. Watching this full-screen is makes it all the more fun.
