I just heard this afternoon from a friend lost he his house in the Southern California mudslides and one of his relatives died. I hadn't heard from him for several days after sending a email and was concerned, so I called. I didn't get many details, he was in no mood to talk, so I didn't press things. He'd almost lost his house in the wildfire, and had had to evacuate, but came through it fine and was so relieved. There was damage work that had to be done, but it was minimal and lucky. And now this.
Trump's continued silence on the wildfires throughout the West since September and mudslide disasters there is SO "presidential" and must make him proud. O the burdens of being a very stable genius... When to tweet, when to say and do nothing.
How apt to Nero fiddling when Rome literally burns...
