...We Interrupt This Awards Show to...
I didn't watch the Critics Choice Awards last night, broadcast on the CW Network. But afterwards, I did see a news item online about the presentation Seth Rogen made, and a watched a brief clip of it. For my taste, it was hilarious. (Your mileage may vary.) I tried to find the full thing online, but couldn't.
However, I noticed that the CW Network would be rerunning the show later in the evening, so I recorded it. And then fast-forwarded to Rogen's appearance, which I recorded with my mobile phone.
The image isn't perfect, but it's fine, and the sound a bit tinny, but clear. The clip is about a minute-and-a-half. He's clearly going off the cuff, and at one point must have realized he's on a roll, so keep going. It's certainly not what the audience in the room was expecting -- nor were the show's producers, nor the Critics Choice organization, nor the CW Network. Especially the CW Network. But the stunned crowd there sure did fill the room with laughter. Especially his final quip.
