Wait, Wait...

On this week’s ‘Not My Job’ segment of the NPR quiz show Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!, the guest contestant is Carisa Hendrix. In her very entertaining conversation with host Peter Sagal, she tells a fascinating and funny (in retrospect) story about breaking the world record for holding a lite fire torch in one’s teeth. And also talks about some of the stunts she did as a circus performer, and how her edgy ‘Lucy Darling’ magician persona got developed.
This is the full Wait, Wait… broadcast, but you can jump directly to the “Not My Job” segment, it starts right before the 20.30 mark.
And as a bonus, here is Carisa Hendrix competing as ‘Lucy Darling’ on Penn & Teller Fool Us.
