Wait, Wait...

The guest contestant on this week's NPR quiz show Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me! is Rian Johnson, the writer-director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It's a charming, low-key interview with host Peter Sagal and very self-effacing, as he comes across still incredulous that, as a geeky kid whose whole world growing up was Star Wars, he actually got a chance to make this movie -- and doesn't quite know why. I should add that he wrote and directed a wonderful sci-fi film, Looper, which (it should not surprise you) they don't discuss, nor do they discuss anything other in his career than Star Wars.
