Wait, Wait...

On this week's 'Not My Job' segment of the NPR quiz show Wait, Wait…Don't Tell Me!, the guest is Adam Scott.  I initially put off listening because I was in the middle of finally watching the Apple TV+ series Severance, that Scott stars in - and I'd been admonished by several people not to read or hear anything about the show.  And thus far I'd avoided everything.  I didn't even know what it was about.  But I finally finished watching, and so listened to the podcast.  And his interview with host Peter Sagal is as I expected - most of it is talking about Severance, though they do cover another interesting topic, and it's all fun, droll, sardonic and very enjoyable.  If you haven't watched Severance yet but plan to, they don't give much of anything away, though do discuss its premise and the production design (which is actually somewhat important).  My only quibble is that host Sagal initially refers to the show as "a comedy" - and while there is definitely some humor, this is not "a comedy."  Though his description at the end is much closer to the mark.

This the full Wait, Wait… broadcast, but you can jump directly to the "Not My Job" segment, it starts around the 18:15 mark.
