The Voice of Australia
This is just an absolutely wonderful video and emotional on many levels. I don’t want to say too much but will set it up briefly. It comes from the Australia version of The Voice, in 2023. A father auditions with his family watching in the wings. He does nicely, but doesn’t get a chair to turn. In talking with the judges, he mentioned that he came on the show to inspire his 21-year-old daughter not to be discouraged by some hurdles she’d hit – and the judges actually push the daughter to audition. And…well, there’s just so much that’s great in this. All I’ll add is that throughout the 19-minute video, keep your eyes on the judges who are terrific. Okay, and always watch the dad, too. A top contender for Father of the Year Down Under.
