More What's My Line

For the “Mystery Guest” segment on What’s My Line?” the contestant is Rosalind Russell.  In her long career, she had four Oscar nominations, received the Academy's Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, had two Tony nominations and won Best Actress in a Musical for Wonderful Town, and was given the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award.

This appearance is a great deal of fun, in part because she has fun with her disguised voice, and in large part because some very wrong assumptions are made in the questioning, and she decides to not only play along, but in full.

The video in full is her appearance, rather than the whole show, so there’s no need to jump to it.
