Lion-hearted
There have been a lot of animal-reunion videos making their way around the Internet -- the owner returns home, and the animal goes all joyous -- but this one is the king. It's one of the legendary Internet phenomenons, so you may have seen it. If not, it's quite the gem. Christian the Lion.
But even if you've seen it, stick around, because I have a terrific follow-up to it...
For people who've seen that video, that's pretty much all that they've seen.
This though is a wonderful follow-up. It's an interview with the two guys 35 years later on Australian television, after the original video became the phenomenon.
(When it ends, it says to go to Part 2 of the interview, but I haven't been able to find it. Any videos for it that I've come across and say "Part 2" are just the same interview. But this is almost eight minutes long, so there's a lot there.)
