On this week’s Naked Lunch podcast, hosts Phil Rosenthal and David Wild talk to Phil’s longtime friend and (as the site write” “even longer-time hero Paul Reubens for a Big Adventure over lunch. This playful and ultimately revealing conversation over sandwiches finds Phil, Paul & David discussing a wide-range of topics -- from Paul's education alongside classmates David Hasselhoff and Katey Sagal at Cal Arts to The Groundlings to his pre-fame work in restaurant kitchens to a wide range of unforgettable encounters with famous Pee Wee fans like Little Richard, Prince, Tom Petty, Joey Ramone and Clint Eastwood. Reubens explains two reasons he became a comedian. "I was terrible at math," he says, "and I didn't want to have to have to wear a suit to work." Here's a funny look at how Paul Reubens ended up in the suit of Pee Wee Herman and still wears it so well.   SIDE NOTE:  For some reason, there are a few places in the interview that suddenly just repeat themselves for about a minute.  So, don’t get thrown off by that, it’s not you going crazy.  And also, for some reason, the show just ends in the middle of an answer, though at least it’s clearly winding down, so it’s not like there’s another half hour.
