Better Off Ed

Appearing on The Ed Sullivan Show in December, 1966, this is the Mamas & the Papas with one of my favorite (perhaps favorite) Cass Elliott song, "Words of Love."  It begins with a short of offbeat, but charming introduction of the group by John Philiips.  And then Cass just takes over the stage.  And that voice soars.
