I've noted that the oft-mentioned Nell Minow (I'm thinking of charging her rent...), in addition to be a world expert on corporate governance who testifies before Congress, also is a movie reviewer, with her Movie Mom column. In conjunction with that, she does radio segments with local hosts around the country. One of those is KOST-FM in Los Angeles, where she appears on Friday mornings at 8:30 A.M. (Los Angeles readers, mark that down, for 103.5 FM.)
One of the films she reviewed today was Bears, the latest true-life nature documentary from Disney, which follows a mother bear and her two cubs during the course of a year. In discussing the movie, which she enjoyed, she noted that although there might be some scary moments for little kids --
"Unless you’re a salmon, you’re going to come out of this pretty well."
Robert J. Elisberg is a political commentator, screenwriter, novelist, tech writer and also some other things that I just tend to keep forgetting.
