The Weekly Stewart This Week a Year Ago
Three weeks ago, I posted here a wonderful interview that Jon Stewart did on his Monday hosting of The Daily Show with CNN's Kaitlan Collins, when she was in the news for being the object of Trump's latest attack on a female reporter. I thought it would nice to revisit an interview the two did a year previous to all this when Stewart interviewed her on his "Weekly Show" podcast, on June 5, 2025.
As the show writes, "With the Trump administration generating headlines at breakneck speed, Jon is joined by CNN's Kaitlan Collins, anchor of 'The Source with Kaitlan Collins' and Chief White House Correspondent. Together, they examine how to cut through the noise and ask the right questions, discuss the ins and outs of covering the White House, and explore what goes into producing effective journalism in an era of information overload."
