Un Poco de El Hombre de la Mancha

I love international productions of Broadway musicals and have a fairly respectable collection of original cast recordings.  But finding videos of those shows is often the Mother Lode.

This is from a foreign production of Man of La Mancha -- but more than that, where better than the motherland itself, Spain.

I could only find one video from the production, and its not "The Song," or one feature Don Quijote himself (as we say in Espagna...), but it's a wonderful version of the powerful, "Aldonza," sung by Paloma San Basilio, who I gather is a popular actress there, since I also found a video of her as Elliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.

But here she is opposite Jose Sacristan in the 1997 revival production of El Hombre de la Mancha.
