The United States of Freberg

When trying to figure out what to play on the Fourth of July, it's hard not to immediately jump to either 1776 or Stan Freberg Presents the United States of America.  I've posted plenty from both of those over time, though don't inherently mind a repeat performance when something is that good and appropriate.  But then I realized there was a way to have some of the old with the new.



This is from the great Freberg album, but a selection not only that I haven't posted yet, but it's rarely heard when other people do.  This is his take on the most famous song to come from the American Revolution.
