The Holiday Music Fest

We have a little known Christmas song, "Christmas is a Time" from one of my all-time faves, the wondrous Kukla, Fran and Ollie.  I just adore them and feel that the world is always made a better place when Burr Tillstrom, Fran Allison and the Kuklapolitans pop up anywhere.  It's not the greatest holiday song, but they can make most anything lovable.

And we have a bonus piece from Kukla, Fran and Ollie.  Bonus because it's audio only, but in some ways it's more typical of the Kuklapolitans for being rambunctious and exuberant, as well as touching.  This is their Christmas Medley, complete with their famous "Deck the halls with bough of holly/ Hang the Mistletoe for Ollie."  But I also love it because you get to get a little bit from my fave Kuklapolitan, the lunatic Cecil Bill (pronounced Sess-ull).  You'll be able to tell him -- he's the one who speaks his own strange language that consists solely of variations of "ta toi toi toi."
