The Day the Music Died

Yeserday, 55 years ago, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash, along with pilot Roger Peterson.
Twelve years later, Don McLean write a pretty darn good song about it.
I thought it would be nice to have a version of the song most people have never seen. And show Don McLean still going strong and in great voice.
This is "American Pie" performed just a few years ago, in 2011, 40 years later, at the Live @ Glastonbury festival, very slightly slowed down perhaps, but rich and vibrant as ever, and with an added instrumental to extend things, in front of 100,000 roaring fans singing along.
(To make clear, Don McLean hasn't just been singing this song for four decades, but in fact has 32 albums and released his latest Addicted to Black, and toured with it just four years ago.)
But okay, here's The Song. All joyous 10-1/2 minutes of it.
