Quote of the Day

I'm a Chicago Bears football fan.  As such, I dislike pretty much everything about the Green Bay Packers, except that they play in another state.  The Bears and Packers have been intense rivals for probably around 100 years.  I do not like the Green Bay Packers.

But today, I really like their quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Before yesterday's game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, during a moment of silence to honor the people in Paris killed, someone in the stands shouted out what was described as an Islamaphobic slur.  Loud enough for the players on the field to hear.  After the game, at his post-game press conference, Aaron Rodgers said --

"I must admit I was very disappointed with whoever the fan was that made a comment that was very inappropriate during the moment of silence. It's that kind of prejudicial ideology that puts us in the position we are today as a world."
