During the late night Olympics broadcast, they announced that Bob Costas would be back in the anchor chair this evening. O huzzah! And I am certain that the biggest huzzah is coming from Costas himself.
For those who might have missed the wonderful featurette that NBC ran yesterday about Louis Zamperini and the movie based on the book Unbroken, reader Douglass Abramson pointed out that they had it on Yahoo. I couldn't find the video there, but did track it down on YouTube. The clips look terrific, and it's a joy to see Louie himself, vibrant at 97. The featurette is particularly well-edited, mixing the film with newsreel footage, photos and Louie's commentary.
