Let's Do Lunch

On this week’s Naked Lunch podcast, co-hosts Phil Rosenthal and David Wild welcome comedian, actor, voice actor, writer, comic book creator and “heavy metal hero” Brian Posehn.  As they write, the show shares “great stories about Brian's life in comedy, his time working with Bob Odenkirk and David Cross in ‘Mr. Show with Bob and Dave,’ appearing on sitcoms including ‘Seinfeld, ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ [as regular on ‘Just Shoot Me’] and, yes, working with Phil on ‘Everybody Loves Raymond.’ Also, Brian helps David educate Phil about the late great Ozzy Osbourne.”

Side note:  Apropos of nothing, I had a chance to run into Brian Bosehn at a Writers Guild Strike several years ago and had a nice, albeit brief chat.  It’s only worth noting because he (not surprisingly) was a great deal more personable and charming than the total doofus he often plays.  But that’s clear in this Naked Lunch interview.
