Happy Easter from Trump

Last night, Trump gave an address to the nation in which his goal was to to justify his unjustifiable war in Iran. I didn't see it for two reasons -- 1) I had no interest in watching Trump likely flail and say how great everything is, and all problems are caused by others, and 2) despite his White House saying in a Holy Week press release how he supports all faiths and how hypocritical his administration has been supposedly fighting anti-Semitism at colleges, he scheduled his Iran War speech on the first night of Passover at the same time it was celebrated at seders. I did watch some clips later, and it's stunning how listless and uninterested he came across -- terrible at any time for a national address, but almost unthinkable while talking to the country about having sent our military into war. Amazing.
However, earlier in the day, Trump talked for about an hour at a White House Easter event. (No, nothing about Passover. C'mon, what did you think?) The full video was released, apparently by accident though since it was later taken down. But that didn't matter, since Forbes had the video and posted it on YouTube.
No need to watch the whole thing, of course. Or even much of it. Because it's really terrible. However, it's worth checking about 30 seconds out just to see a) that it wasn't an April Fools Day joke, and b) how bad shape Trump is in.
However, someone also released a lot of clips. It would take a lot of converting to post them all, but I'll post the text of what he said, along with links to each video clip on Twitter. But I did find video clips of a few which I'll embed.
They’re all horrific. Trump is so slow and delusional and creepy in them. Tired, bored. He didn't get pumped up and primed like for when meeting the press, but is just Trump being Trump, rambling on in his dementia.
A few of them leap out. In fact, when I saw the first, I thought it was AI -- but I researched it. It’s real. So, let's journey down into Trump World. Put your protective helmet on, and strap in.
“Tonight I'm making a little speech at 9 o'clock. And basically I'm gonna uhh…tell everybody how great I am. What a great job, what a phenomenal job I've done. A really phenomenal job. Just kidding.”
You can see it here.
And then there's –
“On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem as crowds welcomed him with praise honoring him as king. They call me king now. Can you believe it?”
Yes, really. In fact, I was able to find this video on YouTube. And he goes on and on even longer about if he was a king -- after comparing himself to Jesus.
His delusions of grandeur are getting deeper by the day. And no, what he doesn't seem to realize (or care) people don't call Trump a king. They say that Trump wants to be a king and acts like he is one. But no, tey don't call Trump a king. They call him unwell with dementia which is degenerative.
But still, thanks to Trump anyway for providing a video for the next No Kings Day rally. And for when MAGOP officials try to ridicule it because they insist Trump would never want to be a king.
And there's Trump talking here about his war against Iran, but he gets distracted when he spots a bright, shiny object, in this case someone he likes.
"We have a regime change. They said 'what do you mean you have regime change? [Spots a reporter] My friend, great show, I love this guy, He's so nice to me. Every time I watch -- You know, we're not supposed to be seduced that way, but I am. When someone's nice to me, I love that person. Even if they're bad people! I couldn't care less. I'll fight to the end for them."
And when he starts to talk about undocumented immigrants (who he know says here is up to 25 million let in during the Biden Administration), he then veers into talking about Kamala Harris, and then goes on a virulent rant about Somalia, which leads into Ilhan Omar.
"All the stupid, crooked people. And they come in, in this case from Somalia, it's just terrible. A lot of people say it's the worst country in the world. They have no money, no government, they no police, they just shoot each other all day. It's just pure bedlam. Probably the worst, most dangerous country. We have some beauties. They go to Minnesota -- and they stole 19 billion dollars. 19 billion dollars. And they're low IQ. In general. I can generalize. They're bad people."
Quick note: the person who organized the fraud scam was a white woman who is a U.S. citizen. And who was found, prosecuted and convicted. And there is no verification of the $19 billion figure. The only verified number is $250-300 million. Which is a huge amount -- but is 1.6% of 19 billion.
But here, I found the video for this, and it goes on for seven minutes. Much too much for me to type. Perhaps much too long for you to watch, but if you start, you'll get the idea, just be careful it doesn't burn your corneas and addle your brain -- or crush your soul.
And there's so much more. He goes on for an hour.
This is the man who sits in the Oval Office. The Commander-in-Chief. Overseeing his Iran War. With 13 Americans dead, in the hundreds injured -- that we know about. Thousands of Iranians dead, the people he said he was going in to help. Gas prices up 30%. Costing a billion dollars a day.
This is the full Happy Easter speech.
I don't offer it to inflict upon anyone. Just as proof.
