Cave In!!!!!!!

When it was announced on Monday that Jimmy Kimmel would return the next day, I wrote an article how Sinclair and Nexstar would now find themselves the focus when their viewers realized that they can watch Jimmy Kimmel Live! online in clips posted the same night, right after they aired. And watch them with not only none of the ads running on their stations, but no ads at all.  And after his first show back, it was reported that 26 million people watched his opening monologue online.

It seems that both Nexstar Sinclair noticed that.  Because both media groups caved, and announced today that they would begin airing the show again, starting tonight!  The only shame is that Kimmel won't be on with a new show until Monday.  But I'm sure that he won't let the moment pass and will, in his own way, happily welcome them back.

So, in honor of this, here then is his opening monologue from last night's show -- his final non-Sinclair/Nexstar monologue.  And it's a good one.
