Taking a slight break for the string of videos we post here from What's My Line?, here instead today is a clip from its cousin, I've Got a Secret, hosted by mother's high school classmate, Steve Allen. (I don't think they ever met, but he's in her yearbook -- "Steve Valentine Allen." And I did get to bring it up to him when meeting him once. Another fellow in that same class: Mel Tormé, who I got to meet when we worked on Naked Gun 2-1/2. But I digress...) Though created to be similar, I don't find I've Got a Secret nearly as interesting since the "secrets" tend to be just random items for the sake of the game. But it still can be fun on occasion, And this is fun. Though in fairness, it's not the game part. That was in Part One of the two videos -- a game where the contestants were Bette Davis and Olivia de Haviland. They don't actually get to do much in the game, because the "secret" is that an impersonator, Barbara Heller, is doing both their voices. She's quite good, but the two stars just sit there. That brings us to this Part Two video. With the game over, there's a brief interview, and so they finally get to do something. The reason that both Davis and de Haviland are appearing on the game show is to promote their movie, Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte. And in the film, Bette Davis sings the title song. Which she does so here on the show. By the way, Olivia de Haviland is still around. And in less than a month, on July 1, she'll be 102. And still feisty. Last year, the two-time Oscar-winner -- who lives in Paris -- sued the creators of the f/X mini-series, Feud, over the way she was portrayed. The suit was rejected by an appeals court two months ago. But now, back to today's edition of You Bette Your Life --
