What a Difference a Day Makes
It's not like things have skyrocketed into the stratosphere (it's still quite earthbound, thank you very much), but today's promotion with a site called BookGorilla certainly has at least had an impact. The Kindle edition of The Wild Roses started the day ranked on Amazon at around #90,000. (And yes, I believe that "rank" is the appropriate description...) At 3:15 in the afternoon, however, it's now #5,211.
Mind you, I'm not sure how proud a person can be saying, "I'm #5,211!!!" But it beats the alternative.
Y'know, it's really quite amazing how lowering the price of the book by 75% down to (a whopping) $0.99 makes a difference. Who'd have guessed?!
To be clear, this ranking will change hourly, and will likely plummet – but still… I was thinking of getting and cake and putting on candles, but with 5,211 flames I suspect the smoke alarm will be going off all day.
