My friend Chris Dunn sent me this article, saying he thought it was my kind of story.  He knows me well, it absolutely is.  I pig out on stories like this.  Even if you don't care about sports one whit, it's a total joy.  It's about Abel Rodriguez, a Los Angeles man who waxes floors for the Metro public transportation system.  He moved to L.A. from Mexico when he was 8, and loves, just absolutely loves, lives for soccer with an engrossing passion.  Every year, for instance, he takes his vacation so that he can volunteer for free as, basically, a ball boy, when the famous Real Madrid soccer teams comes to Los Angeles to practice at UCLA.  He has a family trip planned, but Real Madrid has a truly major soccer game coming up in Spain and what happens next instead is...well just read this story in Sports Illustrated.  Wherever you think it's going, it goes farther.  The article is s great.
