Tweet of the Day

This may be the best response I've seen about the issue of players kneeling in the NFL.  Shannon Sharpe is a former tight end in the NFL who is currently a TV sportstalk-show host on the Fox Sports One channel.

Unfortunately, the tweet that this is responding to is no longer available.  I have the sense that Sharpe's reply was so eloquent that the person deleted their question.  As best I can recall, it was something like -- "I have a serious question, sir.  When will players stop kneeling for the National Anthem?  The goal was to raise awareness of a problem.  People are aware."
