It's pretty rare to write such a blistering, pointed, heart-aching, and snarky satirical song -- and have it be so utterly adorable and charming, but that's what a young Texas woman named Lynzy Lab Stewart has done.  (Of course, playing it on a ukulele helps, too.)  She's a performance artist who has taught choreography at Texas State University.  I suspect this song will give her career a major boost, and if the song hadn't yet gone viral when I saw it last night, I'm sure it has by now.

By the way, if the song "A Scary Time," wasn't so terrific, I might have noted that I like her Twitter bio the most.  "My name is Lynzy, and I like to boogie. I suck at Tweetering. #sendhelp."  But the song is too good, so I can't say that.

It's a really scary time for dudes right now. So I wrote a song about it. Go #vote friends! #TheResistance #1Thing @ACLU @WC4SJ #letsmakesomenoise pic.twitter.com/hz7E3xMRqR— Lynzy Lab (@mercedeslynz) October 8, 2018
